I remember the day we took this picture. It was a shooting at AlpSpiX for the Wanderlust Festival in Munich.
Here the photographer wanted me to do the dancer pose…easy…but 🙈…my feet were hurting so much from shooting on this floor and then the height…it was just hard to focus.
So here I was slowly trying to find my alignment. Not fast, not slow, at my pace, trying to find my alignment before the pose took its full shape. To find alignment regardless of whatever is going on, pain, fear, lack of balance and focus…
This is just a simple example of what yoga teaches me everyday! It’s about finding my alignment. In every situation of my life. Always! The best alignment always happens when I seek to be at peace. Living in alignment with life brings me a deep sense of inner peace. The more peaceful we become and the quieter our mind becomes, the easier it becomes for us to listen to our inner voice and to follow the wise guidance of our hearts! 🙏
“There is a time for being ahead, a time for being behind; a time for being in motion, a time for being at rest; a time for being vigorous, a time for being exhausted; a time for being safe, a time for being in danger. The Master sees things as they are, without trying to control them. She lets them go their own way, and resides at the center of the circle.” – Lao Tzu
