Refine your Asana and practice profoundly

The Meaning and Effect of Asanas

All asanas have a physical, energetic, emotional, and spiritual impact. We illuminate these aspects, thereby creating a comprehensive and holistic deepening into the yoga system.

All asanas are related to the themes of the training. We integrate numerous different techniques for detoxifying the body and clarifying the mind into the practice. These techniques, integrated into the flows, allow you to feel their immediate effects or resonance in your own body. We create the space to learn these techniques, to experience them, and to integrate them into your own practice.

You will work through traditional hatha yoga postures mindfully, giving you the opportunity to refine your asana practice profoundly.

2. Pranayama

Effects of Breathing Techniques

Pranayama is the conscious and intentional control of breath. With every inhalation, we not only take in oxygen but also Prana (life energy). Yogic breathing exercises are often underestimated. The focused direction of Prana within the body can be used to enhance vitality, promote physical detoxification and immune defense, as well as attain inner calm, relaxation, and mental clarity.

You will learn various breathing exercises and how they work. Additionally, you will learn where to apply them. Pranayama is intended to assist you in your daily life, helping you navigate various situations more effectively through impactful techniques.

The practice of controlling the breath has a mysterious power to soothe and revitalize a tired body or a restless mind. It serves as an important bridge between the outward, active practices of yoga and the internal, surrendering practices that lead us into deeper states of meditation.

In Sanskrit, the word “bandha” means to lock or tighten. It refers to the so-called “energy locks.” The energy contained within the bandhas flows throughout the entire body to create balance and assists in controlling various systems in the body, such as digestion or hormonal regulation.

What sets meditation apart from relaxation techniques? There are many different relaxation techniques that mostly target specific areas of the body— the physical body, the realm of thoughts, or the realm of emotions. Meditation aims at a fourth, physical level: the Self. Meditation relaxes all levels of a human being. The techniques of meditation lead us to self-awareness, self-control, and self-unfoldment, with the goal of experiencing and realizing the divine Self (Atma) within us.

You will learn to navigate your own path in meditation. With various techniques, we assist you in progressing systematically in your meditation practice. We explore different meditation techniques that you can apply in your everyday life.

The meditation techniques in this program include powerful meditations to break down blockages on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level, relaxation, awareness of the body and the breath, manifestation, and mantra.

6. Chanting and Mantra

Where words become a song for the soul

That are the benefits of chanting?

When chanting mantras the mind releases the positive energy that decreases the negative thoughts or stress. This is an ancient practice that calms the mind and soul and can decrease anxiety and depressive symptoms in the human body.

Immerse yourself deeply in the ocean of nāda (sound) and ancient mantras. Through vocal training, right rhythm, proper pronunciation of repeated recitation of powerful mantras and singing sacred sound over a longer period of time a wonderful meditative space will be created.

Punnu Singh Wasu

Punnu Singh Wasu

Punnu Singh Wasu is an Indian vocalist, musician, songwriter and multi instrumentalist. He was born and raised in Hyderabad into a family that has a true love for Kirtan (devotional music) and spirituality. He began studying harmonium and singing at the tender age of 5.

At age 10, he moved on to studying the Indian Classical Music (Hindustani) while traveling with his father throughout India singing the beautiful verses of Kirtan. From an early age Punnu has studied yoga, meditation, Reiki & various healing modalities with different masters all over India and other countries.

He shares his profound knowledge & rich experience of over 30 – 45 years in his meditation-, Reiki-, kirtan- & sound healing training courses globally.
