A detailed description can be found under YOGA STYLES.
Standard
This flow is dedicated to rebalancing and inner harmony. Stimulating āsanas (postures) are combined with restorative postures and effectively linked. Strength, movement and relaxation are combined in a structured way by our teachers. The mind comes to rest by observing body, breath and mind in a meditative way, thereby refining awareness.
ATHAYOGA Restorative Flow includes elements of Iyengar, Yin and Restorative Yoga. Probs are integrated to make the postures individually accessible. Grounding, stability and thus serenity and concentration are created.
Our lesson closes with Savasana (relaxation exercise).
The āsanas (postures) are held a bit longer and more explicitly until a fusion of effort and ease can arise. The teachers lead the flows more slowly, which makes them approachable powerful for everyone. Breathing and movement are synchronized, the awareness is completely focused on the moment.
This flow is based on classical Hatha Yoga, inspired by Iyengar and Vinyasa Krama methods and expertly combined with contemporary insights into body and mind. It also includes breathing and meditation exercises. Probs can be used to make āsanas more accessible and therefore more effective.
ATHAYOGA Slow Flow provides a holistic sense of wellbeing and therefore balance.
Our lesson closes with Savasana (relaxation exercise).
Dynamic, flowing sequences, successively intensified, mostly accompanied by music, but also a longer stay of complex āsanas (postures) can be integrated in this flow. Safe alignment of the postures is guided by our teachers, variations are offered, breathing and movement are coordinated. Contemporary interpretations and elements from Ashtanga Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Iyengar or Anusara Yoga flow into this class. Healthy inversion postures can be integrated and carefully guided.
The body is strengthened, balance and coordination are improved and mental clarity and thus relaxation is created.
Our lesson closes with Savasana (relaxation exercise).
The intense structure of our class is usually accompanied by music and can include powerful, challenging and dynamic sequences, as well as extended holding of complex āsanas (postures).
ATHAYOGA Power Flow can include contemporary interpreted content and elements from Ashtanga Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Kundalini and Power Yoga. Our teachers can bring in intense core intervals and teach carefully instructed arm balance and inversion postures.
Body and mind are strengthened, mental clarity is achieved and therefore relaxation.
Our lesson closes with Savasana (relaxation exercise).
Special
ATHAYOGA Energy Flow is a deep and heart-opening class that stimulates the awakening of the own potential, the Kundalini energy.
ATHAYOGA Energy Flow represents the Shakti energy of Tantra Yoga. Kundalini Yoga techniques are combined with flowing Hatha Yoga exercises in a completely undogmatic way, creating a blissful space of resonance and transformation that opens the heart and channels the energy throughout the system.
Various sets of thematically selected Kundalini Kriyas (actions), which include a sequence of specific physical exercises, breathing techniques, mantras and mudras, open the energy channels and guide you to higher levels of consciousness. The exercises lead directly to a feeling of transformation and deeper understanding, to a aware connection with the own self. The class includes Kundalini meditation and mantra singing.
Our lessons always end with Savasana (relaxation exercise).
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation exercise, also called the conscious sleep or the sleep of the yogis. The lesson is also very suitable to get some refreshing rest in the biorhythm of the day and thus regain energy.
The class begins with simple physical exercises, designed to release the blockages of the body and bring the energy into an unhindered flow. The deep relaxation exercise of Yoga Nidra is practiced lying down.
Regular practice of Yoga Nidra can create more balance, emotional peace and mental clarity.
Pilates goes Yoga combines Pilates techniques with Yoga exercises. Pilates is a body workout dedicated to strengthening the core, the foundation of a stable and healthy posture. This is especially important for people who have a seated job to prevent long-term back problems and is also good for postnatal training.
Yoga complements this by the holistic aspect, so that balance and serenity are also achieved in this class. The unique combination of Pilates and Yoga creates a physical and mental centeredness and a long-term increased well-being.
Our class closes with Savasana (relaxation exercise).
In our TRX goes Yoga classes, you can use the support of the TRX straps to practice poses with the body positioned in challenging alignment to gravity and develop a lot of strength and endurance with a mix of challenging and easy movements.
It playfully provides access to more complex positions while strengthening the body. This unique combination of TRX and Yoga creates powerful and meditative movements that clear the mind and unleash the body’s full potential.
Our class closes with Savasana (relaxation exercise).
Aerial Yoga is a unique modern form of yoga practiced using a suspended fabric, known as the Aerial Silk, hanging from the ceiling. Aerial Yoga opens up new possibilities and variations of traditional yoga asanas, whether in a suspended or standing position. It is a playful and versatile practice that enhances body flexibility and strengthens muscles. The sequences involve acrobatic elements in playing with gravity.
Aerial Yoga exercises relieve back tension and are beneficial for the spine. Complex asanas, such as inversions, become achievable with the added support of Aerial Silks, and positions can be held with ease for extended periods.
Safety is the top priority for our experienced instructors, who provide detailed guidance on the correct handling of the silks.
The class concludes with a gently swaying Savasana (relaxation exercise).
For hygienic reasons, we recommend wearing shirts that cover the armpits and long pants.
This yoga practice is specifically designed to the needs of the body and mind during pregnancy. It helps to relieve and prevent discomfort and pain by supporting a strong and healthy posture that balances the weight of the growing belly.
Gentle yoga asanas help release tension in muscles, connective tissues and ligaments, while targeted breathing exercises, deep relaxation and meditation promote stabilisation of hormone levels and overall well-being for the future mother.
The class closes with Savasana (relaxation exercise).
